According to TMZ, singer, Jennifer Hudson's ex-fiance, David Otunga has been cleared of all domestic abuse charges after Jennifer accused him of domestic abuse and filed a restraining order against him. Read the TMZ report below...
David Otunga will not be charged for an alleged domestic violence incident with Jennifer Hudson ... TMZ has learned.
Police had been investigating Otunga for domestic battery after a November incident where Jennifer claimed David got angry at her, grabbed their son by the hand and shoved her out of their bedroom.
She filed a report with cops in Burr Ridge, IL.We're told police have now completed their investigation and will not charge David. Case closed.
You'll recall, Jennifer had gotten a temporary restraining order after the alleged incident, which sparked their custody battle over David Jr.
Davido's aides reportedly caused a commotion Thursday at the arrival section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
One of the singer's aides, whose name was simply given as "Kayode" beat up an official at the airport when asked to produce his baggage tags at the airport. The aides also beat up officials of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Aviation Security (AVSEC), a department under the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and a staff of Checkport over an attempt to check the tags on the checked luggage of Davido on an Emirates flight, Sahara Reporters reports.
Davido and his crew arrived Nigeria through an Emirates flight around 5pm with 17 checked luggage which his aides refused to allow the officials of the Checkport verify with the attached tags. The aide, Kayode, insisted that he would not allow the official verify the luggage. This led to an argument which soon turned physical. Kayode punched the Checkport staff on the face, which attracted other security officials at the terminal who immediately attempted to arrest the aide.
Kayode resisted arrest and fought another airport staff at the baggage claim area. Things soon spiraled out of control so the security officials mobilized and forced him to a restricted area within the terminal known as Tango City - where unruly persons are detained within the terminal before being transferred to a police station.
At Tango City, Kayode allegedly hit a female AVSEC official on the stomach as she was taking notes of the incident. He later pushed another Customs personnel who fell and cut his wrist in the industrial fan in the area.
Davido was reportedly aware of the havoc his aide was wreaking but hid in a car outside the terminal where he awaited the release of his aides and luggage in vain having mobilized some officials with cash to take care of the problem, according to Sahara Reporters. The entire 17 luggage belonging to Davido are yet to be released to him and information gathered indicated that one of the luggage might contain a huge sum of cash in foreign currencies.

The rewards one gets in life are usually the results of one’s efforts. No man can hope to have a very easy life and also at the same time a very successful one.
There may be only one or two exceptions in thousands of cases in this matter. It is astonishing what intelligent efforts can achieve when channelised in the right direction. Had success been easy, everyone would have been successful. However, the path to success is not as difficult to climb as it might appear. Each time we overcome an obstacle, the work we are attempting becomes easier.
It is very necessary to work hard to achieve success. But psychologists say that if we love our work, we will never find it hard or tiring. There is no substitute for hard work. At the same time, there should be a purpose and a noble goal at which to aim and advance. We must decide our aim in life or what we want most out of our life and then constantly work for it.
The early attempts towards the goal of success are the hardest. The more our efforts get success, the easier it becomes to do so. In the end it becomes our habit. Then success follows success. Nothing is impossible to a man who has a purpose and the perseverance to persist with it. Self-confidence, courage and strong will power are necessary to get success.
It is not how much we do but how well we do that is important. But at the same time one should also keep this in mind that it is better to do something than to do nothing due to fear of failure. It is why courage is necessary to achieve success. In the ordinary business of life industry can do anything which genius can do. Genius is nothing but quality of making persistent efforts in spite of facing thousands of failures.
Fortune favours the brave. There is no gain without taking risk. How can a man who never ventures win? In life one has to take bold decisions quickly. Time and tide wait for nobody. The timid, weak and undecided are swept aside by the tide of time. Determination and concentration can enable a man to attain success in any field of life. So success is not a matter of luck, it depends on firm determination and full preparation.
Have a lovely day guys
And a happy weekend to you and yours..
Barnabas...

Hunters Catch and Kill One of the Biggest Alligators Ever Caught

Some hunters have cleverly tracked and killed one of the biggest alligators that has ever been caught.
According to a Metro UK report, some American hunters have caught one of the biggest alligators on record.
Chris Bishop, Hal Camp Jr. and Shane Milstead were scouting Kissimmee River, Florida, USA, over the weekend when they discovered the 13ft-long monster.
Bishop told TCPALM: ‘Usually, big gators don’t make any bubbles, but I think this one was so big it was making a bubble trail as it walked on the bottom of the river.
‘So with my spinning rod — the same kind I use for catching snook, tarpon or cobia — I made a cast about five feet ahead of it, and as I reeled the treble hook back to the boat, I felt it snag the gator. It just grabbed the bottom and held on.
‘That’s when we knew we had a big gator — when we had two hooks in the gator with two men on rods and couldn’t get it to move.’
After battling with the gator, they eventually managed to pulled it up from the bottom of the water.
They started to realize the sheer size of it as it came to the surface.
Bishop continued: ‘When we saw how big he was, then we got nervous about landing him.
Hal was right next to me and put a harpoon dart into its neck. I was able to grab the rope from the harpoon and pull it closer to us, and Shane hit it perfectly with the bang stick, ending the fight.’
The gator is so big that it’s weight maxed out the scales. The trio estimate it to weigh around 750 pounds or possible more.
The biggest alligator to have ever been recorded in Florida is 14ft and 3.5inches from Lake Washington in 2010.

Zulu Maidens Prepare To Undergo Virginity Testing To Affirm Their Purity

Every year, thousands of young girls arrive at the Zulu King Palace in Nongoma and have already undergone virginity testing in their districts throughout the province in a bid to get married to the king.

Thousands of maidens have undergone virginity testing in their districts throughout the province and now they are ready to affirm their purity before Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini this week.
Every spring‚ maidens arrive at the king’s Enyokeni Palace in Nongoma. And this year’s Reed Dance (Umkhosi Womhlanga)‚ facilitated by the KZN department of arts and culture and the Zulu royal household‚ takes place from September 8 to 10.
Virginity testing (ukuhlolwa kwezintombi ) is an ancient Zulu tradition that is regarded as an important rite of passage to womanhood. It’s a custom Zulus have in common with Swazis‚ a nation that historians describe as their closest tribal cousins.
In both nations‚ only virgins are supposedly allowed to take part in the Reed Dance to ensure that it remains ritually pure.
Before embarking on the annual trek to Nongoma‚ the maidens have to be tested by elderly women days before the pilgrimage to Enyokeni or to the Swazi Queen Mother’s Eludzidzini residence.

Those who pass the test take pride in their status and are lauded by their community as izintombi nto‚ pure maidens.
The idea is that by remaining pure‚ the maidens are safe from unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
Tests can be conducted randomly at night or very early in the morning before they present reeds to the monarchs. This ancient Zulu practice was largely neglected by previous Zulu kings until it was revived by King Zwelithini in 1984.
Non-school going maidens will present their reeds to the king on Friday‚ September 9, while learners will present theirs on Saturday, followed by an address by King Zwelithini.
The eNyokeni festival follows another Umkhosi Womhlanga held in Ingwavuma at the king’s Emachobeni Royal Palace the weekend before.
However‚ the Reed Dance has put the king on a collision course with human rights bodies and feminists‚ who have accused him of reviving a practice they regard as a violation of women’s rights. Concerns have also been raised about whether the women are willing participants in virginity testing.
But King Zwelithini has resisted all attempts to outlaw virginity testing‚ arguing that the practice promotes respect for women and virginity before marriage.

Ruth Kadiri Does Not Kiss In Movies And Here’s Why

Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri has opened to us that she does not kiss in movies and has no intention of doing it anytime soon in the future for any production.
In an interview with Silverbird Television, the actress was talking about the reasons that would make her accept a script. According to the actress, as a script writer that she is, she can identify a good or bad script, and once a script is bad, she tries to not be a part of. The actress went further to state that aside from, the script being good or bad, the script should also not be in contrary to her beliefs as if it is, she will not go for it also.
One of the salient value the actress listed was the fact she wont take a script that requires her to kiss an actor on set. Speaking further, the actress mentioned that she has stuck with this belief for the past for years and best of her knowledge, the decision has not dampened her growth and kissing doesn’t make you go further or lesser as an actor.
To Ruth Kadiri, there’s no point trying to please an audience that does not embrace such attitudes in the first place, so why do it if it is what the people who you’re doing it for doesn’t want it at all? she said that not us.

Young Man in Tears After His 70-year-old White Lover Dumps Him After Discovering a Shocking Secret
A Swedish grandmother who fell in love with a young African man has been forced to run for her life after calling off the relationship.

Swedish grandmother, Mona-Lisa Larsson and Aziz when things were still rosy
A Swedish grandmother, Mona-Lisa Larsson has dumped a Ugandan man she was dating and had planned to marry after discovering a sad secret.
The Swedish woman had started a romantic affair with Aziz Maganda aka Aziz Magically, to the extent that she came to Uganda to meet him in person. Just as everybody believed the two were already an item, Larsson found out a devastating secret and called off the relationship.
Now, Aziz, 19 is in real tears following the breakup.
Trouble started for Aziz after Larsson got a tip off from one of Aziz's friends what Aziz was telling journalists in his local language, that he was in the relationship for money and not love.
"I'm not serious, me I just want money and I can't leave my girlfriend Rita."
After that, Larsson called her booking agent to cancel the airticket immediately and all hopes of making out with his granny lover in Sweden dashed. According to Ugandaonline, Aziz had earlier tried services of herbalist Mama Phiina to make his relationship with Larsson last, but that has also not paid off.
Also, it was gathered that the Swedish woman made up her mind to leave Aziz after the young man's girlfriend began sending death threats to her if she did not leave him. Aziz was left at Entebbe airport crying like a baby, the report stated.

Cysts are abscesses under the skin that frequently form behind the ears, neck or back. Generally, they are safe, but are unsightly and can be very uncomfortable when they become infected.
They sometimes go away alone, but many people treat them by themselves or have them removed through surgery. Nevertheless, there are more natural and painless methods to eliminate and/or prevent the appearance of cysts.
1-Keep affected area clean
A simple but effective way of preventing the appearance of cysts is the cleanliness and hygiene of areas where they can be formed (mainly behind the ears, back or neck). Avoid using products that are too greasy for the skin. If a cyst appears, use antibacterial soap.
2-A good immune system
A strong immune system prevents the emergence of all kinds of diseases or infections. To have a good immune system you need to adopt a healthy diet, exercise regularly and have a healthy lifestyle.
3-The heat
Put a bottle of hot water or a hot water bottle on a cyst to reduce inflammation. Heat promotes blood flow and accelerates the healing process.
4-Aloe Vera
The Aloe Vera plant is already well known for its therapeutic properties. It also relieves pain and soothes inflammation. Apply a little gel or cream on the cyst, preferably directly after the heat treatment.
5-A healthy lifestyle
We can never say enough: a healthy lifestyle favours the defences of your skin and your body. Fresh air and exercise reduces stress and helps you stay healthy.
6-Avoid refined sugar
Processed foods and unhealthy diets are not only bad for the line. They also make your skin oily. Oil accumulation may cause blockage of the pores. This creates an ideal environment for the formation of cysts.
7-Sleeping
Your immune system, the last barrier against cysts, strengthens and regenerates itself while you sleep. Try to sleep 7 to 8 hours per night. Your body will thank you and your stress level will be greatly diminished.
